Isn't it ironic that as it gets easier to travel around the world, there are fewer amazing things to see. The earth's most revered marvels are increasingly falling victim to overcrowding, global warming, and untrammeled development.

- Keep in mind that if you can't take an animal in your home (allergies, stupid landlords etc) that you can sponsor one at your local shelter financially.

- The word "misdemeanor" just jumps out at me like the most insane word in the world for this offense! FELONY. FELONY. One count for each animal. What is it with people who think hurting animals is "only a low-level offense?" Wonder if her lawyer has a pet.......

- I confess I have seen "Happy Gilmore" two dozen times or more; "50 First Dates" at least a dozen, and my personal all-time record holder is "The Wedding Singer". Sometimes after a really long, adult, responsible day, one needs to escape and "dumb down" for a few hours. Adam's movies fit that bill.

- I completely agree. "Good" Breeders/"Bad" Breeders...breeding sucks no matter how well they care for their animals. They're making a LIVING at it; selling animals for money even though there are too many already. IF experts came on the news and said..

- Personally, I hope none of your family members have pets, because if you allowed your parents to mistreat their dog for YEARS, you should ALL be banned from ever being near a pet.

- Same here. People have much more of an option to help themselves; the animals have a much harder time AND have to face cruelty from a variety of sources.

- Sorry, but I can understand the financial necessity of having that "outrageous adoption fee". Where do you think the money comes from to care for the animals? Donations are way down according to OUR local no-kill shelter.
